Comments in response to question 2: Are the following items (Property maintenance, vacant lots full of weeds, stray animals, inoperable vehicles, graffiti, or overgrown trees) a major problem, minor problem, or no problem in your neighborhood?

1	We have an occupied lot full/ weeds, grass dead, unmowed, etc.
2	Corner of 700 w. & Riverdale rd. is embarrassing.
3	Neighbor’s weeds make our lot look untidy.
4	Barking dogs in 4500 S. cul-de-sac
5	Trees on Johnny's Dairy block the view.
6	The area across the street North of Tony Divino's Car Sales make Riverdale look run down and trashy. Does the city have an ordinance to make the owner clean it up?
7	Side hill near Cherry Creek apartments.
8	I live in an apartment complex so none of this is applicable.
9	There are a few houses with major problems, but most are kept up well.
10	Unkept lawns, neighborhoods poorly maintained.
11	Trees to the East of ridge Condos, in peoples back yard.
12	There is a serious problem with a home & lot a mess on 700 W. between 3950 S. & 4000 S. also there is one on Parker Dr. right next to the LDS stake house. They both should receive a serious fine!
13	The yards in this city are terrible!!
14	Dogs & cats always run with no leash or owners.
15	Inoperable vehicles on house of west side of 700 W. about 4000 S. cars parked on lawn.

19	Neighbors been asked to keep yard clean to no avail & no enforcement - including non-running vehicles.
20	Corner of 1150 W. 5500 S so-so west corner lot.
21	Many of the houses and yards are a mess on 4100 S.
22	Rat's in the wetlands, Cats - they don't keep that rat's down, they are a pest.
23	We live in a great area.
24	We need to enforce noise ordinances.
25	Lots of dogs roaming around loose.
26	Neighbors-stray animals, inoperable vehicles
27	A house on the street has outdoor cats that keep having kittens and use neighbors yards/garden as a litter box. Vehicles park in their driveway but block the sidewalk, Bicyclists, walkers, wheelchairs, strollers, etc. must then go into the street.
28	Old couch on front, yard never put in or kept up after years, house in disrepair, junk collected on outside, need system to warn and fine offenders.
29	North at the stop sign on River Valley, too many cars house on River Valley.
30	Stray animals occasionally a minor problem.
31	Access street from The Yard Barber on 700 W. is trashy. I don't know if they have wood chips & dirt dumped there for their use or what.
32	Parker Dr. needs some attention, curb & cutter, etc.
33	I see the next year or two critical in this area. If not managed now it could turn into some problems.
34	Too many junky unkept yards. The city is aware of this but won't adopt a junk ordinance. Why?
35	Neighborhood south of Pinebrook "out of control."
36	People need to take better care of their yards. There should be a limit on how many animals you can have.
37	Homeowner’s property full of weeds and cars; look at 1150.
38	Walkway by Mobile Home park - is trashy and needs to be picked up. It looks like a dump.
39	People should not park on sidewalks.
40	There are a few residents who have bad yards, old cars, etc.
41	Sidewalk on 1050 W. needs to be cleaned up from weeds, plus entrance to Riverdale Estates has large hole.
42	Behind Riverdale Estates
43	I would like to see maybe a park over behind Wal-Mart something besides weeds.
44	Trim and cut even vacant lots too and highways.
45	First block of 1150 West is a mess, weeds, trees, mess!
46	Some people spend very little time on property maint. Case in point - the property next to ours was purchased by a Slum Lord at an auction and being used for storage (yard & house) the huge backyard tree needs to be removed; it's dangerous.
47	I live in Riverdale Mobile Estates.
48	Most of what I marked is that of individual home owners/ renters.
49	Cats.
50	Trees in front of Johnny's Dairy needs to be cut up to look like trees, so you can see down the road, they block vision.
51	Our sub-division below the Cinedome theatre is on a downward spiral concerning appearance; weeds, some cars, litter.
52	A few years ago when they repaired the neighborhood sidewalks, they skipped a break in our sidewalk;
53	Weeds also need to be cut along fences & weeds spreading to others that maintain there with fertilizers.
54	We live in the ARC park - they have rules.
55	A manufactured home was allowed to be brought in about 5300 S & 1150 W & it should not have been - It's not kept up and the yard is terrible.
56	Some people are so lazy they let their lawn's die so they don't have to mow them. Then all that’s left is weeds.
57	We have 10 or more homes that the people don't care weeds, no grass, lot of cars that hasn't moved for 10 years, junk, tree overgrown - on 1150 W.
58	Hillside by our house is full of weeds.
59	Yard not kept up.
60	The old fire station is an eye sore with all the weeds!
61	Overgrown tree and old - "dislodge" of trash branches between 4375 Weber River Dr., #16 & #17.
62	Clean corner of 700 W Riverdale Road, Willies also a mess.
63	People letting animals run loose-no leashes.
64	700 West has major vacant lots full of weeds.
65	It would be helpful for citizens if the city helped with some of the trash cotton tree removal since it causes other problems.
66	Walkway no dogs on leashes and dog crap everywhere.
67	Sidewalk needed on 700 W, 4400 N west side.
68	One home makes our neighborhood look awful; cars on lawn, garbage all over, grass dead, constant leaking air conditioner, down fence.
69	The trees on 4500 S are beautiful. More things like that should be done.
70	Garbage cans constantly on 700 W - never moved.
71	Couple stray dogs attacked a neighbors dog putting it in hospital (vet) and bit a helping friend.
72	Road over by Meier & Frank lots are a mess.
73	Can the city offer tree pruning once a year?
74	Trashy yard big truck going in and out of yard, eye sore junky cars, dirt & trash, gravel.
75	How about getting banks or whoever owns vacant lots & houses to take better care of property. . . There should be some kind of fine for homeowners who’s yards are unkept and unsightly. Poor maintenance makes the city look bad.
76	Less wetlands in rural areas and better mosquito control. Lots of junk and weeds in cul-de-sac at 4375 S also many cats in vacant lot and huge deposit of cement in back of house off of 1000 W (lots of cats live there!)
77	We can't go on walks because the bushes are overgrown onto the sidewalk - 4250 S 1050 W.
78	Unkept and unfinished yards area problem.
79	Street cleaner comes but knocks more off overhang of trees corner house only.
80	Have people clean up yards!!
81	Yards are full of junk and weeds.
82	Morning Glory in a lot of lawns, it's spreading; poor water pressure.
83	Field behind AK Walker residence is smelly, over grown with weeds - breeds mosquitoes - health hazard. Please do something.

85	Citizen's should be ordered to keep their property clean, or be charged for city help to clean it.
86	House on Corner of 4200 South 1000 West.
87	Several inoperable vehicles make the neighborhoods look like "trailer trash"

90	We have a few neighbor's that don't take care of their yards, one house has been abandoned.
91	Vacant lot full of weeds and house next door always has some inoperable car corner of 700 W & 4350 S.
92	Rocks more problem. They keep appearing in street and yard. Hazard with lawn mower.
93	Too many barking dogs!!
94	Unregistered vehicles on street.
95	Trees that hang too low over the sidewalk; weeds that grow over sidewalks.
96	Need to do something with vacant house on 1050 W 4200 S.
97	We still need some laws limiting the amount of time people can go before they landscape after moving in!! No law passed as they promised; they passed everything but!!! I don't understand why the city Council is afraid to enforce landscaping laws.
98	Thank you for getting rid of graffiti as soon as you find it.
99	Cats all over!!!
100	There should be a time limit for people to get their yards in.
101	There always seems to be at least one house on the street that is an eyesore.
102	We had a neighbor who has lived across the street form us for 8 years; he doesn't have a lawn in yet!! Weeds come into our yard. Isn't there an ordinance on this?
103	Vacant lot very unkept have had rats and fire from lack of up keep.
104	House at 4753 S 575 W - no yard maintenance; tree limbs stacked in front and back yard, no grass, junk- such as - couch in back yard, unattended dog chained outside.
105	Neighborhood looks bad, a real concern.
106	I recently called on a wandering animal and had quick police service.
107	Lots of stray cats.
108	Problems every year on Ridgeline Dr.
109	The last time they "trimmed" our trees they cut way too much - totally butchered them - they were not professionals!
110	Hillside along road to Romer Park needs cutting or burning.
111	We have a home full of boys across from me. They have as many as 7 cars parked on their lawn from time to time.
112	Most homes and yards well maintained the few makes a major problem as far as appearance; trees on parking major car parked on landscape major in a few residences (ugly).
113	There are many stray cats.
114	Extra inoperable vehicles in areas of my walking.
115	Have a neighbor with a very messy yard.
116	700 & Riverdale Rd (Cutrubus & Chournos property)
117	Motor homes, trucks, and cars parked on driveway and street of one house on 5575 south.
118	Several neighbors with neglected homes and yards - no enforcement.
119	Some people's yards look terrible - it's embarrassing to live close to them.
120	Neighbor’s loose animals.
121	Call to get stray cats picked up and they never picked them up, they still run the streets and get into my strawberries.

123	I consider our trees a necessity.
124	We live next to the old shrimp factory. The weeds are horrible and it makes it nearly impossible to keep our yard weed free.
125	Trees in our neighborhood (cottonwood estates) especially on the hill leading to our subdivision are much too tall.
126	Wet area 4100 S is pushing fences, overgrown, extreme water problem.
127	A neighborhood under construction is of course a mess - there are rocks and building materials all over the roads and empty lots.
128	I have a problem with next-door neighbor's 3 dogs using my lawn. At 5:30 am and again at 10:30 am.
129	Vacant lot north of my home; 475 W 4375 S.
130	Maybe you can add a section about yards & who needs lawn.
131	Some sidewalks are so over grown by trees and bushes you have to walk in the road.
132	There are about 4 inoperable vehicles around my home. (next door)
133	The yard at 774 W 4400 S is a disgrace and eyesore. It has been for years. We are having problems with rats because of this yard and also property at 4388 S 775 W.
134	We have a neighbor of 7 yrs who still hasn’t put in a yard and tells us the weeds will turn into grass eventually.
135	I can't complain; we are currently renovating house and have not done a thing to backyard.
136	Trees overhang sidewalks, can't use sidewalks.
137	There is electrical and phone line concerns on SW corner of property.
138	Weeds on sidewalks around Peterson Marine are awful.
139	Rental property next door is not taken care of.
140	Yards are not maintained, grass needs watering, mowing, leaves from last fall are still not raked in my neighborhood.
141	I have no animals, but I have more animal dodo on my lawn than the stockyard.

144	Many trees and shrubs cover half of the sidewalk.
145	We still have a mini Smith & Edwards and a used car lot in the yard behind us.
146	Our neighbor's backyard looks like the dump - is there anything that can be done?
147	Big dogs are on the street with no leash.
148	I have a ditch in my front yard, have spiders, mosquitoes and other animals in it.
149	My neighbor has an old car in his yard. He has never removed it or even looked at it in 18 yrs. How about getting it out of there?
150	Lot across from us weed and overgrown.

152	One huge maple in neighbor’s back yard covers my yard.
153	The field behind our home is in need of care. It is on Parker Dr north of the Sanders property - (Carter Estates)
154	Large vehicles, motor homes, big boats, construction trailers, semi's should be parked off road.
155	No one will accept responsibility for trees behind my home. (Riverdale City property)
156	Lot with dead trees at least 6 very tall cottonwoods, could fall over with a strong wind.
157	The house on the corner of Parker Dr and the church - weeds, old appliances, beer house for high school kids.
158	Individual yard maintenance and work vehicles parked on street are the main issues.
159	Homes that don't keep up their yards, old cars - 5. Trailers on street behind Cinedome first house, or car on street always.
