Mr. Larry Hansen
The City Administrator serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the City. He is responsible for the day-to-day administration of City operations and implementation of policies received from the Governing Body. He advises the Mayor and Council in policy formulation and supervises the City staff.

Generated $7+ million in General Fund surpluses over the last 10 years despite recession and sales tax revenue challenges.

Implemented a Staffing Authorization Plan to begin dealing effectively with critical costs, capacity utilization, and coverage issues.

$5 - $6 million - Senior Center a legacy asset for the City

 

From concept to reality this Center was made possible by the creative use of RDA resources and the initiative to develop and operate a program and housing facility that is the envy of many cities.

$1.5 - $2 million - RDA Loan Program, a perpetual loan fund

 

Initiated, implemented, and managed a perpetual loan program that meets the housing improvement needs of many residents and properties.

$1 - $1.5 million - West Bench RDA Project Area

 

Developed and implemented this new project area. Purchased 5+ acres of property for the RDA that will eventually be sold for a profit of over $1 million.
