The RDA Residential Loan Program was established to improve the residential areas of the city. The program began over ten years ago and has assisted many residents with home improvements. The program has expanded over the years to include a variety of loan and purchase assistance programs.

Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program: This home rehabilitation program provides no-interest or low-interest loans of up to $30,000 to homeowners who meet certain income guidelines. Loan proceeds must be used to make property improvements to owner occupied Riverdale residences.

Safe Sidewalk Property Improvement Program: This program provides homeowners up to a $5,000 loan for the repair, replacement, and improvement of residential sidewalks to mitigate safety hazards.

Purchase Assistance Loan Program: This program will provide purchase assistance for those buying a home located in specific target areas of the city.

Targeted Area Property Improvement Purchase Assistance Program "R-2": For the Improvement and/or Purchase of Owner Occupied Residential Real Properties located in an R-2 Zone that are converted from existing two-family to single-family dwellings in perpetuity by recorded agreement.

Residential Relocation Program: This program provides assistance to developers for the relocation of homeowners residing within the 550 West RDA Project Area.
