LIVE FIT RIVERDALE MEETING
Planning is underway for Live Fit Riverdale to return for the spring of 2017. We are in need of volunteers! There will be a Live Fit Riverdale meeting on February 9th at 6:00 p.m. at the Community Center. If you would like to help out, please contact Rich Taylor at 801-621-6084 or come to the meeting.
Our next activity is Dodgeball. This is always one of our popular programs. It is for ages 6 to 13. The cost for residents is $5.00. Sign-ups begin February 6th online or at the Community Center. For information call 801-621-6084.

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL REGISTRATIONS
Registration for baseball and softball is March 1st to March 25th with the cost being $35 for residents. Late registration will take place from March 26th to March 31st and will be assessed an additional $10 late fee. The following leagues are offered:
- Coach Pitch: Boys & Girls K-2nd grade
- Girls Softball: 3rd to 9th grade
- Boys Baseball: 3rd to 9th grades

Volunteer Coaches are needed! If you would be willing to coach a team, please volunteer when you register your child. A background check is required.

START SMART BASEBALL
Our Start Smart Baseball Program for kids 5 and 6 years old starts on March 21st, with sign-ups taking place from March 7th until full. This is a great opportunity for kids to learn game skills. Cost will be $25.00 for residents. The six week program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. A parent or adult must attend with the child. New ADULT PICKLEBALL INTRAMURALS
A new adult intramural pickleball program is beginning. The sessions will start on January 2nd and run until February 25th. Registration is now underway for Riverdale residents. Non-residents registration begins on December 15th. The cost for each single session, held one day a week, is $8 for residents and $16 for non-residents. Seniors are free. There are five sessions to choose from:
Monday: 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Each session is limited to 16 players. Sessions not filled may be cancelled. Register online at www.riverdalecity.com or at the Community Center.

OPEN COURT BASKETBALL
The Community Center has made a change to the afternoon and evening open court basketball time. When the courts are available, the east side of the gym will now be available for team play, while the west side will be reserved for individual players. PING PONG OPEN PLAY
Beginning in January, the Community Center will offer open play ping pong. Tables will be set up for anytime play. The cost will be included in the $1 resident facility use fee. Bring friends and family and come play!
TENNIS COURTS INCLUDE PICKLEBALL
The tennis courts in Riverdale Park were resurfaced and now include lines for pickleball. Pickleball is a fast growing sport that is a cross between badminton and tennis. The courts are open to the public for tennis and pickleball during park hours and are available on a first come first serve basis.
SCRAPBOOKING DAY AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
Join us on the second Saturday of each month for scrapbooking day at the Community Center. Bring your supplies and drop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a day of fun. There is a $1.00 charge for residents and a $2.00 charge for non-residents. Hope to see you there.
ROY COMPLEX DISCOUNT OFFER
