RIVERDALE CITY RECREATION

The Riverdale City Recreation Department oversees a variety of programs for the residents of Riverdale. Below is a list of current and upcoming events.

RECREATION NEWS

FLAG FOOTBALL
Co-ed Flag Football registration will be from August 2nd to August 28th for boys and girls 1st - 9th grades. Cost is $25 per child for residents. Registration will take place at the Community Center, 4360 S. Parker Drive or online. For additional information call 801-621-6084.

COMMUNITY CENTER TO BE CLOSED
The Community Center will be closed from July 13th to July 22nd for cleaning and refinishing of the gym floor. The front office will remain open to conduct business from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from July 13th to July 16th.

INTRAMURALS
Our next intramural activity will be Table Tennis beginning August 16th for youth ages 8 to 18. Cost is $5.00 for 6 weeks. Sign ups will start August 2nd and can be done online or at the Community Center. For more information please call 801-621-6084.

SWIM PARTIES PLANNED
Riverdale residents are invited to attend a series of Riverdale City swim parties this summer at the Roy Aquatic Center. The dates are: June 17th, 23rd, & 29th, July 7th, 13th, 22nd, & 28th, and August 6th & 12th. The city has reserved the aquatic center exclusively for Riverdale residents on these dates from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All residents are invited to use the facility on these evenings free of charge. SCRAPBOOKING DAY AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
Join us on Saturday, July 10th for scrapbooking day at the Community Center. Bring your supplies and drop by anytime between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a day of fun. There is no charge to participate. Hope to see you there.

ROY COMPLEX DISCOUNT OFFER
As a benefit to residents, the city will pay half of the cost of a discounted non-resident pass to the Roy Complex. The passes can only be purchased at the Riverdale Community Center, 4360 Parker Drive. For questions call 801-621-6084 or click here.

COMMUNITY CENTER RESIDENT CARDS
Riverdale City has increased the Community Center fees for non-residents. The fees for Riverdale residents have remained the same. However, to continue to receive the resident rate, a resident card is required. Residents may obtain the free card at the Community Center by showing a photo ID and a proof of residency document (water bill, etc.). Residents with children living with them will need to accompany the child.
