Our Community Center has added a text message function to our phone system. The options currently available are:
- Intramurals: text “intramurals” to 801-621-6084 to receive updates and information about Intramurals program.
- Group Fitness: text “fitness” to 801-621-6084 to receive updates and information regarding our group fitness program.
- Events: text “events” to 801-621-6084 to receive updates and information regarding our upcoming events including Live Fit activities.

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL REGISTRATIONS
Registration for baseball and softball is March 1st to March 31st with the cost being $35 for residents. After March 31st there will be a waitlist and a $10 late fee. The following leagues are offered:
T-Ball: Coed Kindergarten
Coach Pitch: Coed 1st to 2nd grades
Girls Softball: 3rd to 9th grades
Boys Baseball: 3rd to 9th grades

Volunteer coaches are needed! If you would be willing to coach a team, please volunteer when you register your child. A background check is required.

START SMART BASEBALL Suspended
Our Start Smart Baseball Program for kids 5 and 6 years old starts on March 17th with sign-ups currently taking place. This program runs March 17th - April 30th . This is a great opportunity for kids to learn baseball game skills. Cost will be $25 for residents. The six week program is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. A parent or adult is encouraged attend with the child. Our next group fitness session registration starts on March 25th. This session will run from April 20th – May 29th. More details to come.
Our next Intramural class is Two-Man Carry. Registration for this activity starts on March 16th. The session runs from March 23rd - May 7th. This intramural class is for 6-12 year old kids. YOUTH CO-ED SOCCER FALL/SPRING FORMAT
Registration is now closed.
NEW GAME ROOM Suspended
The Community center is pleased to announce that we have added a new game room to the facility. The former Executive Room was an underutilized space and is now being used as a game room. The room offers foosball, air hockey, and ping pong. The game room is included with the entrance fee ($1 for residents, $2 for non-residents). To view a flyer click here.
OPEN COURT BASKETBALL Suspended
The Community Center has made a change to the afternoon and evening open court basketball time. When the courts are available, the east side of the gym will now be available for team play, while the west side will be reserved for individual players. ROY COMPLEX DISCOUNT OFFER
As a benefit to residents, the city will pay half of the cost of a discounted non-resident pass to the Roy Complex. The passes can only be purchased at the Riverdale Community Center, 4360 Parker Drive. For questions call 801-621-6084 or click here.

TENNIS COURTS INCLUDE PICKLEBALL
The tennis courts in Riverdale Park were resurfaced and now include lines for pickleball. Pickleball is a fast growing sport that is a cross between badminton and tennis. The courts are open to the public for tennis and pickleball during park hours and are available on a first come first serve basis. (Courts may be closed during the winter months.)
