SUMMER FUN DAYS
It's back!! If you have kids who will are in the 4th & 5th grades this school year, then make sure you sign them up for Summer Fun Days. This is an eight week program, beginning in June, featuring sports, games, crafts, snacks and much more. There will be two sessions: session one on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Golden Spike Park. Session two will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Riverdale Park. Each session will be limited to 40 kids. Signups will be on a first come, first serve basis. The cost is $25 per child. Registrations are taking place at the Community Center and will go until May 24th. For more information please call 621-6084.
INTRAMURALS
Our next activity will be Volleyball. Games will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning May 28th. The following ages will play at the following times:
Ages 8 - 9 at 9:00 a.m.
Ages 10-12 at 10:00 a.m.
Ages 13-18 at 11:00 a.m.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Women are invited to come play volleyball at the Community Center. Beginning May 28th, women can come play on Mondays and Wednesdays at noon. Cost is $5.00. This is for those 18 and older. Sign ups begin on May 12th. Plan now to come and play!
WOMEN'S SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Recreation Program will be having a women's summer basketball league. Registration will take place from May 12th to June 28th at the Community Center. The league is limited to the first eight teams to sign up. Players need to be age 19 and older. Cost is $300 per team. Games will be held on Thursday nights beginning on July 9th. COMMUNITY CENTER RESIDENT CARDS
Riverdale City has increased the Community Center fees for non-residents. The fees for Riverdale residents have remained the same. However, to continue to receive the resident rate, a resident card is required. Residents may obtain the free card at the Community Center by showing a photo ID and a proof of residency document (water bill, etc.). Residents with children living with them will need to accompany |
