The Community Center is now publishing the weekly schedule for the gym. The schedule will allow residents to know when “open play” is available for the gym and what other activities are taking place.

Our next intramurals volleyball activity begins May 31st. The following ages will play on Mondays and Wednesdays at the following times:
- 8 & 9 year olds- Mon. & Wed. at 9:00 a.m.
- 10 - 12 year olds- Mon. & Wed. at 10:00 a.m.
- 13 - 18 year olds – Mon. & Wed. at 11:00 a.m.
- *Soccer- 6 & 7 year old – Mon & Wed. at 12:00-12:45 p.m.
The skills and rules will be taught along with game play. The cost for the six week activity is $5.00 for residents and $10.00 for non-residents. Sign ups begin May 15th online at the link below or at the Community Center.
*The 6 & 7 year old group will be playing soccer outside. We will go over basics and play games

If you have kids going into the 3rd - 6th grades next school year, sign them up for Summer Fun Days featuring sports, games, crafts, and much more. The program runs from May 31st to July 13th. Sessions will be held at Riverdale and Golden Spike Parks. There is a max of 40 kids per session. The cost is $25 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Summer Fun Flyer
Archery classes will be taught at various class days and times beginning June 5th. This is for ages 7-15 with a max of 10 participants per session. The cost is $30 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Archery Flyer
Our kids track program will run from June 6th to July 4th. This is for ages 3 to Jr. High School. It will be held in Riverdale Park. There is a max of 60 participants. The cost is $5 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Track Camp Flyer
Tennis lessons will be taught for kids ages 5-12 from July 17th - 27th at the Riverdale Park. There is a max of 8 participants per age group. The cost is $25 for residents and $50 for non-residents. Tennis Flyer

YOUTH TACKLE FOOTBALL
Washington Terrace offers WFFL Youth Tackle Football for ages 7-13. Riverdale residents are welcome to join with them. Registrations must take place on the Washington Terrace website at www.washingtonterracecity.com or call 801-395-8293 for more information.

OPEN PLAY PICKLEBALL
The Community Center summer Pickleball open play days and times will be Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The cost is $1 for residents and $2 for non-residents, seniors are free.
ENHANCE FITNESS PROGRAM COMING
Riverdale City is partnering with the YMCA to offer the Enhance Fitness program at the Community Center. This program is geared toward older adults of all fitness levels. The details and start date are being worked out and will be available soon.

OPEN COURT BASKETBALL
The Community Center has made a change to the afternoon and evening open court basketball time. When the courts are available, the east side of the gym will now be available for team play, while the west side will be reserved for individual players. PING PONG OPEN PLAY
Beginning in January, the Community Center will offer open play ping pong. Tables will be set up for anytime play. The cost will be included in the $1 resident facility use fee. Bring friends and family and come play!
TENNIS COURTS INCLUDE PICKLEBALL
The tennis courts in Riverdale Park were resurfaced and now include lines for pickleball. Pickleball is a fast growing sport that is a cross between badminton and tennis. The courts are open to the public for tennis and pickleball during park hours and are available on a first come first serve basis.
SCRAPBOOKING DAY AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER
Join us on the second Saturday of each month for scrapbooking day at the Community Center. Bring your supplies and drop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for a day of fun. There is a $1.00 charge for residents and a $2.00 charge for non-residents. Hope to see you there.
ROY COMPLEX DISCOUNT OFFER
