Riverdale residents,
It is time again to license your dogs in Riverdale City. You may license your dogs at the Riverdale City Civic Center, 4600 S. Weber River Drive, from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday using the form on the reverse side of this letter. If you prefer, you may also send it by mail, please enclose copies of your certificates of spay/neuter and rabies vaccination.
Please keep your animals on a leash and do not allow them to roam loose on the streets. All dogs on the trail system and in the city parks must remain on a leash at all times as well. Please be aware that they may be impounded and a citation issued if they are found off leash. If your dog is found roaming I will make every reasonable effort to return your dog to you if it can be identified through a current license.
Without a current license attached to a collar it is difficult to determine ownership of a dog and sadly enough they usually end up at the shelter. Please attach the license to your dog’s collar as soon as you get it. Owners who do not license their dogs may receive a citation.
Licenses are now available for 2021.
Sincerely,
Kim Winn
