Welcome to the Riverdale City Fire Department website! Our goal is to provide excellent customer service for the citizens of Riverdale and those who visit. We hope you find the information beneficial whether you are a resident, business owner, or simply interested in learning more about our department.
Riverdale Fire Department serves a residential population just shy of 9,000 citizens. In addition to that, our City has a large commercial base and will see our City fill with over 60,000 visitors throughout the daytime hours. Riverdale Fire Department provides fire suppression, ambulance service at the advanced EMT level, fire prevention, commercial inspections, and public education. We provide these services 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Riverdale Fire Department is part of the Auto/Mutual Aid System with all surrounding Weber County Fire Departments. This provides a seamless response to even the most challenging emergencies throughout the Weber County area. We are proud to provide services for the 240,000+ residents and travelers of Weber County, but especially the expertise and equipment Riverdale Fire Department provides when it comes to Heavy Rescue. This is a challenging, yet rewarding job, as we assist those needing to be rescued under the most difficult circumstances.
We take our positions as firefighters very seriously. We strive to be a department that prepares for the future, while responding appropriately, efficiently and effectively to the current situation. The dedicated men and women of Riverdale Fire Department are here to serve you with the utmost respect and professionalism.
