Services
The center provides residents and nonresidents with excellent exercise facilities including a full-size gymnasium and an exercise room. Also available are two meeting rooms, kitchen, and game room. The Community Center host a variety of sports programs offered by our recreation department including youth after-school activities, basketball, open play basketball, pickleball and more. Hours
The center will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday and most holidays.
Admission
Admission fees are as follows:
Residents: $2.50
Non-residents: $3.75
Seniors (55 and older): Residents $1.25, Non-residents $ 2.50
Open Play Basketball
Is offered when there are no other activities scheduled in the gym.
Exercise Room
Our exercise room in the Riverdale Community Center is equipped with ten different machines. We have treadmills, bikes, a Stairmaster, and cross-training machines. This great room is included with your admission.
Gymnasium
Come to the Riverdale Community Center and join in a pickup game of basketball (included with your admission). Use of a basketball is free with your admission. Available during open play time.
The gym is available to rent for tournaments and other events. Please call the center at 801-621-6084 for more information on rates and availability.
Meeting Rooms and Kitchen Rentals
There are two meeting rooms and a kitchen that are available for rent at the Riverdale Community Center. The meeting rooms may be combined as one large room or used separately. Rooms are available Monday through Saturday.
Security deposit for all uses (refundable) minimum, or as determined by Community Services Director based upon use..................$100.00
Prices for reserving rooms are hourly and are inclusive of setup and cleanup times. The prices are as follows:
