July 1- Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament 8A- 3P at the Community Center Deadline in June 23 or until full Limit of 8 teams- 3 men and 3 women on the court Must be 16 years and older Pool play followed by single elimination tournament Registration is FREE! Baby Contest- RIVERDALE RESIDENTS ONLY 4p- 6p at the Community Center 0- 24 months old Babies will be judged in categories such as; cutest smile, most hair, biggest legs Winners will be in the Parade on July 4th Registration is FREE! 5K Packet Pick-Up Movie in the Park 8pm at Riverdale Park (4300 S Parker Drive) We will show MOANA and have FREE HOKULIA This event is FREE! July 3- Pickleball Event Senior event 9a- 12p at the Community Center Night event 6p at the Community Center Mixed doubles, registration limited to 9 teams 8 games guaranteed Registration includes t-shirt if registered by June 10. Cost is $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents July 4- Sunrise Service 7am at Riverdale Park (4300 S Parker Drive) Speaker is Representative Katy Hall Stars and Stripes 5K 7am at the Community Center Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by June 23 Registration closes on June 30 Cost is $20 Lions Club Breakfast 7:30 am at the North Pavilion Kids K 8:00 a.m. Register by June 23 for a shirt. Cost $20 Parade 9am- Pedals and Paws 9:30 am- Parade- starts at 4250 S 700 W Applications due Friday June 23 Vendor Booths Open from 10a- 3p Inflatables Free from 10:30a- 3p at Riverdale Park Live Entertainment Greg Simpson- 10a- 11:30a Clayton Smalley- 12p- 1:30p Fireworks- Provided by Dragon Dynamites |

Old Glory Days
Our biggest celebration of the year takes place on July Fourth. The Old Glory Days celebration includes: Sunrise Service, Breakfast fundraiser, parade, Riverdale Park booths and entertainment, sports tournaments, baby contest, and fireworks. Details and schedules are posted in June.
Easter Egg Hunt
Our Youth City Council puts on our annual Easter Egg Hunt in Riverdale Park. The event takes place on the Saturday before Easter.
Halloween Party
A Community Halloween Party is held annually in October. Our Youth City Council plans and runs the event. Details of the event are posted in early October.
Summer Swim Nights
Riverdale City holds annual summer swim parties each year for residents. Riverdale rents the Roy Aquatic Center exclusively for Riverdale residents to swim for free from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for each date chosen in June, July, and August. For more information click here.
