COUNCILOR BART STEVENS
Address: 4613 South 1100 West

My wife, Debbie and I have enjoyed living in Riverdale for over thirty years. Riverdale is where we chose to live, raise our five children and are active in the community and schools.
I worked in finance and logistics - recently retired from Hill AFB - Served in the military, active duty Marine Corps, retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Army Reserves - hold a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University.
Riverdale City: Currently serving my second term on the Riverdale City Council – My priorities are:
• Sales Tax: Continue working in finding a legislative solution to Riverdale’s sales tax redistribution allotment that will sunset in 2030 potentially causing budget shortfalls
• Public Safety: Prioritize budgets to retain and support our outstanding police and firefighters.
• Development: Ensure responsible development that enhances the city, affordable housing to commercial development that is attractive and adds to the vitality of the city
With my experience, knowledge, and years on the Riverdale City Council and Planning Commission, I will continue serving Riverdale’s citizens to maintain fiscal priorities while ensuring a high level of services that makes Riverdale a safe, thriving, and wonderful place to live.
