ROUNDABOUT SAFETY
With the new roundabout open on 4400 South and 700 West Riverdale City has five roundabouts: two on River Park Drive and three on 4400 South. Roundabouts are designed to keep traffic moving. Fewer stops mean less traffic congestion and less air pollution. When traveling through the roundabouts please follow the instructions below.

Pedestrians
Pedestrians should always cross at the cross walks and always be careful! Even though you have the right of way do not assume that vehicles will stop. The island in the middle of the crosswalk allows you to go halfway while allowing traffic to continue to flow in the opposite lane.

How to use Roundabouts
Approach
- Slow down, the speed limit is 15 miles per hour.
- Yield to pedestrians .
- Prepare to stop if needed.
Entry
- Enter to the right .
- Always yield to traffic in the roundabout and to your left .
- Do not stop if the way is clear.
Traffic flow
- Travel in a one-way direction around the center island.
Exit
- Exit to the right.
